The Blessing Bag Ministry delivers weekend food bags to Ponchatoula public school students identified as having food insecurity.

For many children, school is the only place they are guaranteed daily meals. Blessing Bags contain imperishable food items to carry students through the weekend.

Blessing Bags are assembled and delivered weekly by our ministry team. If you are interested in serving, contact ministry leader Britney Allen at ballen@fbcponchatoula.com.

Adopt a Child

For $3 a week, $12 a month, or $45 a semester, you can provide a weekend bag of food that contains:

  • Two Breakfasts

  • Two Lunches

  • Two Snacks
