WOW! Being a kid is tough! That's why we make kids a priority! We offer action-packed activities to help them learn about God, meet friends, and have lots of fun! Throughout the year we offer several main events and various programs which include:
Children's Church for Preschoolers | Sunday Mornings
Nursery offered for children birth through 3 years. Simply take your child to the Preschool area and pick them up after church.
Pre-K Children's Church (age 4 - kindergarten) - The Pre-K children do not go to worship services with their parents. At 9:20 take your child to their Sunday school room on the first floor of the children's edu building which is the first building on the west side of the premises. After Sunday school, children remain in the building for Pre-K children's church. CHILDREN'S CHURCH!!! Elementary Grades on Sunday Morning!1-2-3 Children's Church and Sunday school: (first thru 3rd grade) The utilization of puppets, skits, activity games, crafts, and music makes children's church at First Baptist Ponchatoula an awesome experience! 1-2-3 Children's church is provided during both worship services for children first thru 3rd grade. During the 9:20 contemporary worship service, the children are dismissed and taken to 1-2-3. Afterwards, the 1-2-3 staff will take the children to their Sunday school classes. During the 10:40 traditional worship service, the children are dismissed and will be kept in 1-2-3 until their parents arrive. 1-2-3 Children's church is located in the two story children's educational building in room 207.Our fourth, fifth, and sixth graders are provided with a great Bible study in Sunday school and attend church services with their parents.
